We receive requests for how to mount the M2 over a shipping bench or packing station, and to solve this need, we came up with the S1. The S1 is an accessory to the QBOID M2 mobile dimensioner that places a 3D color sensor over the included scale, taking up a modest amount of bench space. Operator no longer needs to hold the M2 to capture dimensions.
The M2 goes into a docking/charging station and runs all the same user interface and software. Unplug the M2 from the dock to move around the warehouse or dimension items that won't fit on the S1 scale surface.
Capture barcode, weight, dimensions, multiple color images in the same moment, triggered by a barcode scan. No M2 touchscreen interaction is required in most cases.
No calibration required, self calibrates and resets workflow constantly between every scan.

Place on a workbench or portable cart. USB-C powered by a 5V/3A power supply or phone battery charger that can output at least 3A at 5V for on the move operation anywhere in the warehouse. The S1 weighs less than 30 lbs and on a low cost cart from Amazon, can be moved around easily with two fingers.
